Introduction of Freelance Contracts
Branch Communications Ltd is a digital marketing agency creating and delivering successful campaigns for their clients. To Compliment their permanent employees, Branch Communications use the services of a number of Freelance Contractors for specialist projects and found that the contracts of engagement were outdated and did not provide them with the level of comfort they needed to protect their business.
What was required?
A comprehensive review of all existing contractor documentation was required and the introduction of ‘fit for purpose’ contracts that protected the interests of the Company.
The solution
We reviewed and updated two existing documents and included post termination restrictions to protect Branch Communications existing client base. During the process we held regular meetings with Branch Communications to ensure they were happy with the approach we were taking.
The results
The exercise was completed within the specified time scales and new ‘Contract for Services Agreements’ were introduced.
