Gravitas HR Celebrates Merger With Drinks Reception

Wednesday 22nd January saw the culmination of weeks of organisation for the Gravitas team, with an early evening drinks reception at the Campanile Hotel, Grange Park.

We were delighted that so many of our clients, suppliers and supporters were able to join us and share the celebration of the merger of In-essence Employment Law with Gravitas HR Solutions Limited, which took effect on 1 October 2013.

We were particularly pleased to have an opportunity to support a fantastic local business by commissioning our very special “Gravitas” cupcakes from Ben Frazer, The Cake Artisan. We encouraged all of our guests to sample at least one!  Karen went for a blue one (as there was chocolate involved), Dawn eventually succumbed to the orange and Mark made sure he sampled all of them (quality control, you understand).

As Karen said when she made her speech, it seems inconceivable that just 12 months ago, we were competing businesses, albeit with similar products and values.  We couldn’t have merged so smoothly and quickly without the expertise of our suppliers and the backing of our clients.

We are looking forward to working with our existing clients and expanding our client base across Northamptonshire and beyond in 2014.
